Welcome to the Mobius forums!

I will be gradually transitioning all Mobius discussion from the Yahoo
group to this forum. It will take time, and I will continue to be
active in the mailing list but it will be shut down at some point so I
encourage everyone to please move to the forum.

The General forum is where you post most of the things that you would
have posted to the Yahoo group.

The Tips and Tricks forum is intended for detailed posts on topics of
interest. It isn't moderated but I may decide to occasionally remove,
rewrite, or edit threads to keep the information accurate and current.

The Scripting forum will be focused on scripts. Since a lot of
discussions ultimately lead to scripting, I expect there will be a lot
of scripting discussion in the General forum as well. But if you know
what you're asking is related to scripting, please post it here.

The Plugin Hosts forum will be focused on running Mobius as a VST or
Audio Unit plugin. If you post here, be clear about what host you're
talking about, for example: "Mainstage 2 Configuration". Like the
Tips and Tricks forum, I may occasionally edit threads to reduce the
noise for new users.

The Organized Chaos forum is for anything you want to say that doesn't
fit in the other forums. I have no illusions of this becoming a
thriving social networking site, but if common themes emerge I'll
break this up into more focused forums (Looping Music, Ed Wood Movies,
String Theory).

Thanks everyone! Per wins the Leif Ericson award for being the first
registered user on these shores :)

One thing I'm not sure how to handle yet is file uploads. Yahoo provides
a convenient file area that anyone can upload to, I don't see anything
like that in the forum software. You can post messages with attachments,
which would probably work well enough. If I can't find another way I'll
probably create another Files or Library forum for this.

Hi Jeff

posting files via forums is sort of workable but not really so great, actually - esp. if you want to change/organize stuff later.

Perhaps you can integrate a fileupload script to the main web site? (i.e. http://www.hotscripts.com/category/php/scripts-programs/file-manipulation/upload-systems/ )

best regards
