44khz/48Khz accurate sync

Mobius require 44khz for accurate synchro. What it means exactly?
Dooes it concern sync between tracks, or/and internal sync stuff ? Or does it concern external sync stuff like midi clock?

If you want to synchronize with a MIDI clock, or generate a MIDI clock
(Sync Modes Out, OutUserStart, In, MIDI Beat, MIDI Bar) you must run
Mobius at 44.1K sample rate.

If you want to synchronize with plugin host transport events (Sync modes
Host Beat and Host Barr) or you only need to sync tracks with each other
(Track Sync Mode) then you can run at any sample rate.
