Problem with Mainstage 2.1 and Mobius

So After downloading MS 2.1, there now seems to be a few milliseconds latency from my FCB. Not sure if this is the actual reason for it, but, I've tried different midi interfaces, updating drivers etc.
I used to be able to produce flawless and neat loops with no latency every time. Now there is a noticeable thump at the start of every loop. The result of, what expect is midi latency. Very frustrating.

Has anybody else noticed this? Any thoughts on a solution?

I've had many such "thump" situations and there are a lot of factors that may cause it. Unless you tell us what you're doing it will be hard to give a useful advice. Factors that might play a role are how you set up quantization, sync and track sync in Mobius. And of course WHAT you are controlling with the MIDI data. Are you controlling Mobius functions by Mainstage objects or by direct MIDI input? If you are using direct MIDI input, there are two ways: One is to send MIDI through Mainstage and the other is to send MIDI directly into the plugin. The latter is the method I presently use and it shows no issues at all.

I am using Mainstage objects to control Mobius. I've never had a problem before. BUT, after being frustrated for about 2 hours last night, I took a break then I went back in and the problems seem to have disappeared. A ghost in the machine? I was doing retsarts before, so who knows. This is one of my gripes with music software, the sheer mystery problems that come and go.
