Mobius with JACK (Mac OSX)

Hi All,

I use Mobius as a freestanding program, routing audio for sends, monitoring and recording using JACK. http://www.jackosx.com/

Does anyone else use this method?

Not any more but I used to run Mobius by the standalone application version. I tried Jack and Soundflower but was not happy with the way latency flicker so I solved that by setting up an analog feedback loop by physical cables going out the audio interface and back in again to enter another audio application. That induced more latency, but without flickering, ie a fixed latency that I could type in correct compensatino for in Mobius. If doing ambient music such rhythmic accurancy may may not be needed though.
