Hi,

I recently bought a new notebook and have been setting it up for looping, but have struck a small snag.

I use the Mobius VST inside of Bidule and control it using keystrokes. Since the reinstall (v1.42) my keyboard control is working fine in the standalone version, but the VST doesn't recognize the keystrokes at all.

Also, the blue oval no longer appears in the Bidule screen.

Am I missing something obvious in my Mobius settings or is it more likely that Bidule is the fly in the ointment?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing you are in "single window mode". I think that was added in 1.42.

There are two ways to use the VST plugin, the original is "dual window"
where you get the funny little blue oval window and Mobius opens it
an independent window. The new "single window" mode tries to open
Mobius in the first window which is controlled by the host.

The problem with single window mode is that the host doesn't always let
keystrokes get through. Go to the Global Parameters dialog and check
"Dual Plugin Edit Window".

In retrospect this should have been the default on this upgrade since it's
been causing problems for a lot of people.

Thanks so much Jeff, I was completely bamboozled by that one.

Guess I should have gone through the release notes. :o

Thanks again.
