Hi all, I'm Felix.

I'm in Raglan, New Zealand and I just started using Mobius this week.

I'm mostly interested in using it for live performance with live audio - not really much of a MIDI guy.

I use things like old drum machines, kid's toy keyboards, home-made oscillators, circuit-bent gadgets and such alongside more traditional instruments. My website if you're interested is http://bsidebeats.com

Up til now I've been playing live by running reason with a few basic elements - beats, basslines, usually about 4 or 5 loops that I can drop in and out - and playing the other stuff over that. It's fun but a bit limited so I've been looking for an easy way to incorporate live looping into my "battery powered plastic dub orchestra".

I tried Ableton's looper but it required a higher latency setting than my other software and then there's Re-Wire issues trying to use Reason as well and it just seemed like a massive hassle to re-arrange my whole setup to incorporate a program that I really am not that interested in using apart from the looping device.

Mobius seems to be exactly what I've been looking for. I'm running it as a standalone on XP. It plays nice and doesn't conflict with anything and so far behaves pretty much how I expect it to - can't really ask for much more from software than that, eh?

Anyhoo I'm looking forward to learning more - just scratching the surface so far - but so far, so good.
