Hi there,
I followed Per's instructions for a mobius setup in mainstage (stereo, iac-driver,etc.).
It works very well so far, but I have some strange issues with it:

If I record and play some loops and I had opened the mobius au-window, then close it and open it again, there ist nothing to see except some squares.
If I record for example a loop on track 1, then change preset to record track2 or overdub or something, I have dropouts from time to time, which remains in the recorded signal.

Has somebody a workaround for that?

One more question: Is it possible to have the plugin-window in a smaller size open beside the mainstage layout or (maybe better) to have an optical control in the layout for the tracks and the loop position???

And my setup: Macbook 2,2 GHz, 4GB Ram, Guitar rig mobile or FF400, Mainstage 2.1

Nice to hear it is working ok so far. Some things I thought of when reading your post:

- You don't need to change Mobius preset in order to record to a new track. Simply use the command "Next Track"! Or a direct call. Or the mouse. Or computer key binded to Next Track (if using Mainstage 1. Mainstage 2 sadly blocks the use of third-party plug-in binded key control).

- You can change the size of the Mobius plug-in window if opening the Mobius standalone application. The plug-in will remember and use the size set in the standalone version.

Over here I find it best to run Mainstage in Performance Mode. I design the Mainstge interface to fit with a quite small and sparse Mobius window. Take away the Mobius objects you don't need! ("Configuration / Display Components")

Thanks for the reply Per,

1) I found the size change possibility too and it's an option, but I'm not very satisfied with it, because in the main section I just want to see the messages, the status and the loop meter. Under tracks I wanna see radar, loop status, pan and output level. If I resize the window: the main section is every time in the center of the bigger window and after resizing I can't see these parameters. Beside that, the different parameters won't change the size itself. So, in the resized window the parameters are somewhat "pressed" and overlaying each other.

2) The presets: :D, you misunderstood me, Per. I don't change the preset of mobius, but the sound preset in mainstage (e.g. from Rhodes to drums or something). There I have the dropout problems...

3) Are the display problems, which I described in my 1st post under question 1 recognised by you too?

You do know that you can move around the Mobius window elements, right? (Was it ESC key? I don't remember).

No, I really didn't know that:
But, that's cool!
