User Interface Z option -1.43

Am I the only one that cannot get the Z option to bring up the outline components of the user interface layout in neither XP or win7. It works as the great new documentation states on my MBP osx 10.6.5. I have looked for a thread on this but nothing that I found. It is a great feature, if I can get it to work. I could slim down my screen real estate footprint on my 10" laptop for live performance. Also I was looking for where those changes to the display are stored. I thought ui.xml, but it doesn't seem to change it's date and time after a change of layout. Maybe I am just missing something. Anyway the 1.43 is great keep up the awesome work Jeff. This software has done wonders for my guitar playing.

Is this a fresh install or did you upgrade?

If you upgraded from 1.42 the installer will not replace any of the
configuration files (mobius.xml and ui.xml) which means that you won't get
any of the new "standard" bindings.

Open the Keyboard Control window and check for a binding
to the function "UI Move Display Components". If this doesn't exist
then create a binding for that function to the Z key.

I indeed installed over the 1.42. I wasn't able to change the UI binding as suggested. It seemed to take it and then upon reload it returned to original settings. The folder and the UI.xml were read only, but changing them did no good. Not that any of this is important unless it gives you an idea of what might be going on, as I uninstalled and deleted all files, then did a clean install and it worked fine. All is well now and it seems like changes are being accepted into the xml files.
