Hello from Nashville

Newbie Brad here. I am a Mobius user from many years ago and sometimes Yahoo and CL Mobius forumite, but have not been active on the forums for a while. I play fretless guitar and my music partner plays Akai electronic horn, we duo as 3 Pups Music. At different times we do experimental, improvised, nu-jazz, standards, or self composed, and sometimes extend the size to a trio or quartet or even quintet. I have used Mobius to record in different ways, sometimes with content fed by VST hosts and sometimes content from miked guitar cabinets. We have used it for looping and processing live performance content at festivals when we play. It is a really great tool. Really great.

Hi Brad, and welcome to the Mobius strip! I too play fretless guitar and Akai EWI 4000s. Have defretted two guitars myself and it works but isn't perfect. Awaiting a Tim Donahue Fretless Electric Harp Guitar now and that will be the first time I get access to a top instrument in this department.

Using Mobius a lot, but lately I have been forced to leave it out as I've recorded media music that is requested at 48k, and Mobius can't handle that (yet). But I kind of regard Mobius as just another instrument I play, so I really hope it will support 48 k at some future upgrade.

My friend jahloon at unfretted.com has one of the Tim Donahue harp guitars it is the most amazing green color and he likes it very much, Per. You are a lucky guy to order one. I've not met Tim but he is a great player.

How fun!!! If you meet Jahloon please give him my complements for his great choice! Yes, I was lucky to get an order in with the present production line before prices go up. Mine is purple with chrome hardware but I guess identical to Jahloon's in other aspects.
