Slaving Mobius plugin to Logic's transport

Sorry if this is too basic, but after reading the manual and playing with the synch settings I can't seem to be able to do this.

How do you set up Logic to be master and drive Mobius' plugin record/play/stop functions as slave? I have tried host bar, host beat, midi bat, midi beat, in sync modes, but Logic won't start play or record. Logic is set to send midi clock, MTC and MMC.

I've tried it with auto-record on and off, still no dice.
The closest the system gets to actually get recording is when I hit record, the press the play button in Logic- this is when Synchonize appears on Mobius, and the record triangle is "waiting at the end of the cycle...but it does not record the audio.

Any suggestions?

Mobius doesn't respond to transport buttons in the host. It was designed
to sync up with the host after you start the host, for example load a backing
loop in the host and start it, Mobius starts receiving beat/bar events. Now
press Record in Mobius, it waits for the next beat/bar (it shows Synchronize)
mode, then starts recording. End recording, it again waits for another beat/bar event. The key thing is that the host already has to be running when
you do the Record. This seems to be what most people want when they slave
Mobius, they get something grooving in the host, then they move over to
Mobius when they're ready for live looping.

I have had several requests for it to work the other way though, following
the host transport start/stop sort of like it was just another track in the host.
That's a reasonable request and it's been on the list for awhile but it doesn't
work that way now.

Having said all that, what you described a the end of the post should
have worked: with the host transport stopped, do Record in Mobius so
it enters Synchronize mode and waits for the host. Now start the host
transport. Assuming that the host sends a beat/bar event *immediately*
after the transport starts then Mobius should have started too. I'll
try that and see what happens.
