Hello everyone, this is my first post here but I've posted a few times on the Yahoo group in the past.

I'm relatively new to using a Mac, having been a PC user for years.

So, when upgrading Mobius, do I need to uninstall the old version first? If so, how do I retain my settings (presets, etc.)?

Thanks.

Mobius keeps files in two places on the Mac.

/Applications/Mobius
- the executable files

/Library/Application Support/Mobius
- user configuration files

To upgrade on the Mac, you just delete the old /Applications/Mobius
folder and drag the new one over. Or if you want you can keep the
old one and rename the new one. Either way, the configuration directory
is not modified and all the old presets, setups, midi bindings, etc.
will be preserved.

Hey - you're a Mac user now and shouldn't worry about such details ;-)
