I just discovered last night the ability to automatically go into multiply when changing to a new loop. I find this so useful in constructing parts.
(btw, it's in Config-Presets-Switch-Time (or Sound) copy mode. Its probably been there since V 1.0, but I've never noticed this parameter before; it solves a few problems for me)
Thanks Jeff.

Yes, I like that feature too! But I set it to create a new loop of one cycle's length in Overdub Mode, if entering a new loop that is empty. I'm thinking that if I may want to multiply the new loop I will anyway have full cycle to make up my mind. It's more common for me that I want to layer at least two parts before multiplying when building a new loop from scratch.
BTW, I like having the same thing happen when going Next Track. It helps me keep parallel loops synced right from the start. The difference is that when going Next Track, where the loop slot is empty, the created one cycle loop is not in Overdub Mode. The reason for that choice is that quite often you may not want to simply just overdub something but rather do some SUS Substitute stuff. If wanting to overdub new live playing you can always kick into Overdub Mode a bit into the loop and play the first part of the loop later when you get there after the turn. That feels more seamless from a performance view.
