Hi there,
I've recently installed 1.45 and 2.0 on a laptop w/ Vista. I'm using an Edirol UA20 as an audio/midi interface, having upgraded the necessary drivers to run on Vista. I've used this same interface on an old pentium with xp and 1.42 with no problems. Möbius is receiving both audio and midi fine and is looping as normal. My problem is that whenever I open Möbius it produces a steady stream of glitchy pops. I like glitch as much as anyone, but I'd like to run Möbius quietly! Any ideas? Thanks. |

Hi,
You must have a greater buffer size on your soundcard. Kent J |

You will probably have to increase your buffer size. If you're running Mobius standalone start with "Suggested latency milliseconds" at 5 and if that still pops set it to 10.
If you are running Mobius as a plugin the host will have a way to set the buffer size. Different machines handle digital audio in different ways. XP was generally regarded as a more efficient OS for digital audio, Vista wasn't as good, and Windows 7 is supposedly better. |

Thanks guys will give that a try.
Good points about the OS, too. My pentium 4 with XP ran möbius very happily. Might look into stepping back to XP. Thanks again. |
