Slip n ms...

Hi!
My first burning question for the new forum is.....

I need a script which would (presumably)
<Downpress>
create variable n
start a timer
<Release>
2 stop the timer assign its value to n
SLIP n msec

I'm not at all sure of the best way to do this.
Can I "Wait" for the release and then retrigger, not bothering with the timer?
I assume that wouldn't be very good in the middle of a loop.

Maybe some kind of Sus/Pause combination?

Any ideas would be really helpful -especially if I'm re-inventing a wheel that is already there!

take a look at the multiclick function. I don't know all the parameters by heart, but chances are you might be able to achieve this with multiclick.
